
We are stoked to have you join us for event week! Whether you’re a trail lover, a people person, or just here for the sweaty hugs at the finish line, we’ve got a spot for you.
The course is split into four zones. Use these codes to find your ideal spot on the map:
Zone A: Paekākāriki & Akatarawas.
Zone B: Hutt River Trail, Belmont, Cannons Creek, Porirua.
Zone C: Porirua to Karori (including the famous Makara Peak).
Zone D: Karori through the Southern Suburbs to the Finish.
Pro Tip: Want to see the Mountain Bikers? Look for Saturday shifts (pre-9pm). Want to cheer on the 50km/24km runners? Aim for Sunday!
Course Marshals:
The 'Faces of Faultline.' Cheer on athletes, keep trails safe, and soak up the views.
Aid Station Superstars:
Fuel the journey! We encourage themes, music, and high energy. Help athletes hydrate and keep moving.
The Village & Logistics Crew:
Event Village Set-up: Skip the gym—help us build the finish tower and dress the village!
Check-in & Expo: Be the first friendly face athletes see.
Finish Line Crew: High emotions and 'medal-giving' moments. This is where the magic happens.
Specialist Roles
Drivers (25+): Be the backbone—moving drop bags, food, and the occasional tired athlete. (Vehicle & clean license required).
Tail End Charlies (TECs): Follow the last athlete. High fitness required; you're the ultimate safety net.
Course Markers/Clearers: Get your steps in! Help us mark the trail or clear it once the race passes.
